It is great to have friends in different parts of the world, you can catch up with them and see what is going on in their garden, I talked to three dear friends from in Little Compton, R.I today, they are very much behind us in the garden but the interesting thing is that they will catch up with us before too long. They get hotter summers than us. MF is the fellow vegetable gardener so we love to catch up with what is going on and like me he loves to cook so there is always a lot to talk about. Freinds are also great to swap plants with like the Pelargonium that I got from my friend Geraldine, it was not named so I call it ‘Stroods Pink’, I have just got it out out the glass house and it is back in the kitchen windowsill for the summer, I will be reminded of Geraldine most days because of the plant. It is a perfect pink I think.
