Today was a good day for lifting the Potatoes, we have not had rain for a while now and so the soil around the Potatoes is dry and not sticking to them so they can be put away clean without having to wash them and letting them dry, we store them in wooden boxes that Simon makes up in the barn, he does a great job on them and always seems to find enough for me, and then they are  stored in a dark, dry frame in the long shed.

  1. Aaron, I hope my spuds will look as good as yours! I’m trying a new raised method which will hopefully improve size & quality – but at the end of the day, it’s all about what they taste like!
